Three years validated study of the English language combined with either acceptable SAT Critical Reading and Writing, ACT,TOEFL or  IELTS scores. I am using the word acceptable because colleges may differ on what scores they find prove an applicants mastery of the English language. Additionally, there are several colleges which will allow a wavier in place of the standardized test but again, this will vary from school to school thus one would need to speak to an admissions rep. at each school you are interested to find out the specifics.
