Do direct medical programs (e.g. BS-MD, BA-MD) guarantee admission into medical school?

Accepted students typically have to maintain a certain GPA in the core science pre-med courses. If this GPA drops, you can get kicked out of the program. BS/MD is a rigorous program and once in, you have to work hard to stay in and attend medical school.
